When I first watch Kino's video on this pose, I had to look twice and my response was: OMW, she just folded in two. One thing that I have learned about yoga was that my breathing technique played a big role . Believe me, it does make a difference. When you exhale or inhale wrongly, you will find it difficult to do certain poses.
I do not practice this move all the time, but was part of my beginner's routine to get more flexible in my legs. Don't worry, just go as far down as possible with your arms. Below you will see that my upper body is still far from my legs. First try to get comfortable with your legs wide apart, then put your arms on the ground and only after that, try to put your head on the ground.
Yoga is never ending. With thousands of moves and different types of yoga, you will find the best routine the longer you practice. I am still a student and have a long way to go, but in the beginning you need to educate yourself and best way to do so, is to watch online videos. There are great yoga gurus online so find the one that inspires you most. Kino for me is full of life and following her story and journey to a better me is what makes me want to continue.
