We are launching our new online shopping page! Every Month I will be adding items that Gabi and I have been loving that month, whether it be lifestyle items, clothes or essentials. That way everyone can see the things that I buy and use.

I am one of those people that hate nausea. Just to make you understand how serious I am, I will repeat – I hate it! I was more in the bathroom than anywhere else. Biggest struggle was to work feeling like this. I seriously could not eat or smell anything because it had me running to the bathroom. After each meal, and even before a meal I had to go "take a run" so to speak. I lost 5kg during this time... Sticky Fudge is very well known clothing brand among South African Mommies. What sets them apart from your ordinary kids clothing brand is the vintage look. Their clothes are absolutely adorable and, like the name says, Irresistible. It's one of those brands, that you get to your baby's closet and there it is...A Sticky Fudge piece...Oh and another... Ah, and there is one more (Or at least that's how it is with me). As a little girl, I use to call my room MY wonderland.... With such a huge imagination like mine, I filled my room with all my dreams, Dolls on the one side, Mom’s pearls hidden away under the bed and the walls was covered with my artwork. When I designed Gabi’s baby room it was so much fun. I knew exactly what I wanted to create, that same feeling I had… her own wonderland. (Blog post to follow about her entire room décor) When people hear that you are raising a Vegan baby (except for the all natural - mommy's breast milk of course) the first thing EVERYONE seems to ask is what milk alternatives I gave to Gabi when she started weaning off breast milk after the first year. The answer to that question is OATS MILK. There are so many different milk alternatives available these days, like nut milk, soy milk and even rice milk, but I ended up choosing Oats milk. I can honestly say that this recipe is tried and tested as I make about 2 liters of oats milk a day ( i must confess that I do knock down a glass or 2 myself time to time.) So many Mommies have asked me for my oats milk recipe so I should think it's about time I post it. Oats milk is tasty, affordable and sooooo easy to make, like I will be showing you below. |
